District Elder Stanley D. Hood Sr.

District Elder Stanley Demetrius Hood Sr. was born March 30,1968 to the late Dr. James Hood Jr. and Zelma I. Farmer in Hampton Virginia.

He attended the Church of Jesus in Hampton Va. under the leadership of the late Dr. Merlin L. Ford Sr.

District Elder Hood was baptized in the name of Jesus and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost an early age.

At the age of 20, District Elder Hood joined the United States Army and later married his high school sweetheart Eleecia Shantel Banks in holy matrimony by his pastor Dr. Merlin L. Ford Sr. at The Church of Jesus in Hampton Virginia.

While serving in the military District Elder Hood was stationed at several different duty stations all over the United States and in Europe. He remained in fellowship and served within several churches in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc.

District Elder Hood was ordained Deacon in 1993 under the leadership of Pastor Dan Harbor at The Pentecostal Church of Junction City P.A.W. Inc, in Kansas.

Pastor

In 1995, while stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. God led him to New Bethel Pentecostal Church P.A.W Inc, under the leadership of Pastor Jerry Swinney where we served for five years and participated in several ministries and auxiliaries such as Prison Ministry, Alter Ministry, Men's Fellowship, Church Choir, and served as the Church Photographer alongside the church historian.

In 2000, District Elder Hood transferred to Fort Polk in Louisiana. The Lord led him to join and serve with a small yet powerful group of saints at the post chapel called The Pentecostals of Fort Polk under the leadership of Pastor Rodrick Jackson. He was trusted by his pastor to teach Sunday School and minister the gospel to the congregation from time to time.

In 2003, District Elder Hood was stationed at Fort Hood in Texas, where he accepted the calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was locally licensed as a minister under the leadership of Pastor Lester McCombs of Killeen, Texas P.A.W Inc.

While stationed at Fort Hood, District Elder Hood was deployed to Bagdad Iraq from 2004-2005 and was blessed to minister the gospel to fellow soldiers and civilians while deployed.

In 2005, upon returning from Iraq he was then transferred to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas to attend the United States Military Sergeants Majors Academy for one year.

While there the lord led him to serve at a local church Christ Temple Apostolic Church El Paso, P.A.W Inc, under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Dunn where he ministered Gods word and ministered to many displaced families because of Hurricane Katrina.

In 2006, he relocated to Fort Stewart in Georgia and was led to attend Jonesville Baptist Church of the P.A.W under the leadership of Bishop James G. Rodges from 2006-2013.

While serving in the ministry at JBC District Elder Hood ministered the word from time to time. He and Lady Eleecia Hood served over the marriage ministry.

On two occasions while still serving in the military in Georgia. Once again, District Elder Hood was required to deploy in 2007-2008 to Operation Iraqi Freedom and 2010-2011 to Operation New Dawn in Iraq on both occasions he was blessed to serve and assist the chaplaincies in ministering to both Soldiers and civilians once again.

In 2015, his final military assignment was at The Military Academy in West Point, New York where he attended and Christ Community Church of the Apostolic Faith in Peekskill New York, a sister church of the P.A.W inc., International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ Inc, under the leadership of Bishop Vincent L. Greaves Sr.  He was later ordained Elder and assigned as the president of Christ Community Church men's fellowship.

On February 1, 2019, District Elder Hood retired from the United States Military with 32 years of military service to the United States Army.

In September 2020, He was appointed to District Elder serving within the North-East Regional Dioceses under the Diocesan Bishop, Apostle Vincent L. Greaves Sr. (1st Vice Presiding Bishop).

In December 2020, He was installed as Assistant Pastor of Church Community Church of the Apostolic Faith, under the Senior Pastor, Apostle Vincent L. Greaves Sr. and later served as the Vice President of the IBW Men's Fellowship from 2021-2024 at the national level.

In May 2023, God led District Elder Hood and Evangelist Eleecia Hood to return to Virginia.

In 2024 He was blessed to join White Stone Pentecostal Church in Sutherlin Va were he now serves as the Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Suffragan Bishop Joseph C. Farmer.

Evangelist Eleecia Shantel Hood

Evangelist Eleecia Shantel Hood was born in Hampton, Virginia on June 6, 1970, to Mr. Charles Banks and Mrs. Melinda Potts. She grew up in Hayes, Virginia and was educated within the Gloucester County School system.

Evangelist Hood was baptized in Jesus Name and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost in August of 1992 at Fifth and Adams Pentecostal Church in Junction City, Kansas under the leadership of Pastor Dan Harbor Sr.

Evangelist Hood received two blessings in one month. It was also in the month of August that she married District Elder Stanley D Hood Sr and have been married now for 32 years. They have three children Erika, Stanley Jr and Danielle Hood.

Her husband District Elder Stanley D Hood Sr was a service member in the United States Military and during their time in the military Evangelist Hood has served faithfully in several churches within the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. and a sister organization International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ Inc.

She has served as a church Youth President and Christian Education Superintendent, Marriage Ministry Leader and IBW Assistant Operations.

It was in 2020 while attending Christ Community Church Inc., in Peekskill New York, under the leadership of the Apostle Vincent Greaves Sr. 2nd Presiding Vice, she was Ordained as an Elder within International Bible Way.

It was here that she served as Executive Administrator and the Church Administrator for eight years.

In May 2023 District Elder Hood and Evangelist Hood was led by God to relocate from Newburgh, New York to Chesterfield, Virginia and called by God to serve White Stone Pentecostal Church in Sutherlin, Virginia under the leadership of Suffragan Bishop Joseph C. Farmer, Pastor.
